Shrine of Our Lady of Tears
The original shrine was built in the year 1954. Since it was a temporary shrine it was continually being improved and replaced. In the year 1961 a permanent shrine was built and named “Our Lady of Tears” because it commemorates the miracle that took place in a family in Siracusa, Italy, when a plaque shed tears for three consecutive days.
Shrine of St. Therese
The shrine built in 1958 was replaced with small, but a beautiful one in 1998. St. Therese had a great devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. Indeed, her full name is “St. Therese of the Infant Jesus and of the Holy Face”
